Utica, N.Y. — A 17-year-old boy died in Utica Wednesday night after he was shot in the head, police said.

Around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the 110 block of Smith Place and found the boy in the road, according to Sgt. Michael Curley, a Utica police spokesperson.
