30-year-old man killed in Central NY crash, deputies say

Remsen, N.Y. — A 30-year-old Oneida County man was killed in a two-car crash Thursday in the village of Remsen, deputies said.

At 9:20 p.m. Kolby Lyon, 30, of Forestport was driving a white 2011 Honda Civic south on State Route 12 when he hit another car, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

Lyon was trying to make a left turn onto Dustin Road from Route 12, when he collided with a 2022 gray Nissan traveling north, driven by Carissa Huber, 25, of Westfield, New Jersey, deputies said.
