71-year-old man dies after crash in Salina, troopers say

Salina, N.Y. -- A 71-year-old man died Monday after he had a medical emergency at the hospital following a car crash in Salina, troopers said.

The man killed was Harold Williams, of Baldwinsville.

Around 2:49 p.m., Williams was driving a 2014 Chevrolet with a passenger — Pamela Williams, 63 — when he attempted to exit a parking lot at 6846 Buckley Road, according to Trooper Jack Keller, a state police spokesperson. Williams turned south onto Buckley Road in front of 2005 Honda, he said.
