Average home sale price up over 17% in 1 Onondaga County town

Syracuse, N.Y. — The average sale price for a home was up more than 17% from this time last year in one town in Onondaga County, according to new data.

The average was up 17.1% in the town of Pompey, when compared with the average price at this point in 2023, according to data from Central New York Information Service Inc., an arm of the Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors. That was the biggest percentage increase among all towns in the county and the city of Syracuse.
