Syracuse, N.Y. — It’s not a good time to be a fan of New York City professional sports teams at the moment.

In fact, it’s downright awful.

The New York Giants just got stomped 24-3 on “Monday Night Football” by the Seattle Seahawks and look like one of the worst teams in the NFL.

The New York Jets had the highest of hopes dashed four plays into the season when Aaron Rodgers got hurt.

The Yankees and Mets, with a combined payroll of $642 million, both missed the 2023 MLB playoffs.

Yikes.

Syracuse University alum John Jastremski of The “New York, New York” podcast and SNY joined Episode 21 of “Syracuse Sports” to breakdown how bad things are in the Big Apple and how to fix them.

I also opine on Syracuse AD John Wildhack’s decision to move a home football game away from the JMA Dome to Yankee Stadium.
