It’ll be a little bit folk, a little bit Western, and a lot of heart when Symphoria turns to the hits of American country music with Principal Pops Conductor Sean O’Loughlin at the podium. He said in shaping this season, the orchestra’s planners looked at the kind of music that draws Central New Yorkers, and they realized that large crowds gather for country performers.

“We know country music artists have performed at the New York State Fair and other local venues to delight huge crowds for years now. We thought it made a lot of sense to combine country music with our professional orchestra to bring an immersive musical experience to our audience,” O’Loughlin said.
