SRC Inc. made the following announcements.
Joan Dempsey has been named the new chairperson of SRC’s board of trustees, succeeding Joseph Corasanti, who remains a board member. Dempsey has been a member of the SRC board for eight years. She was formerly the executive vice president for Booz Allen Hamilton’s defense intelligence group, managing day-to-day operations of the firm’s largest market-facing organization. Dempsey had a long career in the federal government with two presidential appointments. First, in the Clinton administration, she served as deputy director of Central Intelligence and Security, and in the Bush administration, she served as executive director of the president’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board. Dempsey also has 17 years of experience as a senior civilian in the defense department.
