More shows have been added to the Upstate New York concert calendar.
Jimmy Eat World will perform at Empire Live in Albany on Sept. 28. Charly Bliss will open the show at 8 p.m.
Tickets for Jimmy Eat World go on sale Friday, June 3 at 10 a.m. via TicketWeb. Prices are $45 in advance and $50 on the day of the show.
The alternative rock band, led by singer-guitarist Jim Adkins, has released 10 studio albums since their 1994 debut, and remain best known for the No. 1 hit “The Middle” from 2001′s “Bleed American.”

The Marshall Tucker Band will perform at Vernon Downs Track on June 30 at 8 p.m. for the “Can’t You See” rock group’s 50th anniversary. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Food Bank of Central New York.
Tickets are on sale for $20 each via Ticketmaster. All seating will be general admission in the track grandstands; attendees must be 18 or older.
Vernon Downs and Jeff Gural, Chairman of American Racing and Entertainment, will donate an additional $20 per ticket sold, bringing the total donation to the Food Bank of CNY to $40 for each ticket.

The Finger Lakes Grassroots Festival of Music & Dance is returning after a 2-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. More than 80 bands, including Donna the Buffalo, Galactic, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, John Brown’s Body, Driftwood and Sophistafunk, will perform at the fest from July 21-24.
Tickets and camping packages are on sale now through grassrootsfest.org. Options include single-day admission starting at $40 or four-day weekend passes for as low as $125; kids 12 and under are admitted free with a parent or guardian.

And Tommy James & The Shondells will perform at del Lago Resort & Casino in Waterloo, N.Y., on July 15 at 8 p.m. The band’s hits include “Crimson & Cover,” “Hanky Panky” and “I Think We’re Alone Now.”
Tickets will go on sale Friday, June at noon through the del Lago Resort & Casino box office at 315-946-1695 or online at dellagoresort.com/entertainment.
Other upcoming shows at del Lago’s Vine Showroom include Bastille (June 4), Billy Ray Cyrus (June 23), Ginuwine (July 2), Jamey Johnson (July 28), Colin Jost (July 30), Cedric the Entertainer (Aug. 5) and Clint Black (Sept. 16).
