Syracuse, N.Y. -- An early morning crash on Interstate 690 in Syracuse caused a vehicle to catch fire, closing lanes for almost two hours, troopers said.

Around 6:32 a.m., officers attempted to pull over a 2023 Jeep traveling east on Interstate 690, said Trooper Jack Keller, a spokesperson for the State Police.
