Deputies release name of man found dead in ditch after hit-and-run in town of Onondaga

Onondaga, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday released the name of a man killed when deputies say he was hit by a pickup truck in December in the town of Onondaga.

The man killed was Lee H. Riley, Tom Newton, a sheriff’s office spokesperson, said in a news release. He was riding a bike when he was hit.

Riley, 53, was found dead in the ditch in the early afternoon of Dec. 14 in the 4000 block of Bussey Road. A bike was found with him.
