Syracuse, N.Y. — The father of a teenager shot and killed this fall by an Onondaga County sheriff’s deputy sued the county, the sheriff’s office and the deputy Tuesday for alleged violations of federal civil rights and state laws.

In the federal lawsuit, Domkog Mo accused sheriff’s Deputy John Rosello of excessive force, assault and battery that resulted in the wrongful death on Sept. 6 of Mo’s 15-year-old son, Lueth.
