Fulton, N.Y. — A former G. Ray Bodley High School varsity coach pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday to possessing hundreds of child pornography files.

Joshua Demars, 38, coached the girl’s cross country and track teams at the Fulton high school. He also worked as a teaching assistant at the district.

Demars was charged in March after a tip was submitted to state police’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in Albany. Police searching his home found several devices with child porn, investigators said in court documents.
