The 2023-24 College Football Bowl Season officially kicks off with the Georgia Southern Eagles vs. the Ohio Bobcats at the Myrtle Beach Bowl at Coastal Carolina University’s Brooks Stadium on Saturday, December 16 (12/16/2023) at 11 a.m. ET.

Ohio enters the contest 9-3 while Georgia Southern backed into bowl contention with six wins this season. The Eagles wrapped their regular season with a 55-27 loss to Appalachian State — their fourth loss in a row — while Ohio is fresh off a three game win streak culminating in their 25-14 regular season finale over Akron.
For Eagles quarterback Davis Brin, this will be his second Myrtle Beach Bowl appearance. Last time, he led Tulsa to a 31-17 win over Old Dominion in 2021. He threw for 295 yards and two touchdowns to earn game MVP honors during that game.
This will be the first-ever meeting between Georgia Southern and Ohio. The Eagles will be making their sixth bowl appearance, while the Bobcats are making their 15th. Here’s how to tune in.
