The Interstate 481 north exit from northbound Interstate 81 is expected to be closed for two hours Wednesday for road maintenance, according to the NYS Department of Transportation.
The work is expected to take place from 10 a.m. to noon, weather permitting.
Crews will be doing routine road maintenance. That is exit 29N, toward Oswego.
A detour will take traffic to Exit 30, to state Route 31, to I-81 southbound, to Exit 29N.
A long-term lane closure is also expected to start Wednesday at the southern I-81 and I-481 interchange. That work will close one lane of I-81 north from the interchange to East Glen Avenue for one year.
