Syracuse, N.Y. — A Jefferson County man pleaded guilty in Syracuse federal court this week to possessing a half-pound of cocaine and selling “ghost guns.”

Adam Cook, 33, of Clayton, faces up to 20 years in prison at his sentencing in April, prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York said in a news release. He pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to distribute and possessing a firearm in connection with drug trafficking.

Police searched Cook’s home in September 2020 after finding cocaine in several vehicles that were seen coming and going from his house, investigators said in a criminal complaint.
