Washington – President Joe Biden plans to ask Olympic organizers to allow a Native American lacrosse team with players from the Onondaga Nation to compete in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Biden will announce his support today for the Haudenosaunee Nationals lacrosse team to be granted a narrow exception to field their own team, White House officials said.
