Who is Josh Allen’s girlfriend? Brittany Williams has become a celebrity in her own right as she cheers on the Buffalo Bills quarterback, who’s having a breakout year in his second NFL season.
Williams and Allen have been dating for two years, according to their Instagram, but they’ve known each other since they were kids. Both grew up in Firebaugh, California, a small town 40 miles outside of Fresno, and attended Firebaugh High School together.
“My 8 year old crush turned out to be my boyfriend a few years later. I love you! #1yeardown #bae,” she wrote last year. In another Instagram post, she wished him a happy birthday and thanked him for “flirting with me when we were 8 years old.”
He was a star football player and she was a cheerleader, so their romance feels like kismet -- but they didn’t become a couple until they attended different colleges. Williams continued cheerleading at Fresno State, where Allen wanted to go, but he didn’t get recruited there and instead played football at the University of Wyoming.
“I used that nonbelief as fuel to my fire,” he told The Denver Post in 2017. “If you didn’t want to believe in me, that’s OK, because I’ll make a believer out of you. It’s not been my mission, but it’s been kind of icing on the cake to this whole thing. Obviously, I didn’t get looked at and didn’t get recruited by Fresno State or any other school in the nation, to be honest. It has always been my goal to go into every game and show you why you should have recruited me.”
Allen and Williams, both 23 years old, made the long-distance relationship work and have since been inseparable. The couple has appeared side-by-side at many events, including when was picked No. 7 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Bills.
“Watching your dreams come true was a moment I will never forget,” she wrote on Instagram. “Here we come Buffalo! #BillsMafia”
The couple also hasn’t been shy about sharing photos from dates to Disneyland, the Monaco Grand Prix, a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game at the Staples Center, Halloween parties, and a Team USA baseball game in Colorado. Williams has steadily gained thousands of followers on Instagram, and even inspired one fan to ask her out to prom -- but she’s taken.
Williams has also made herself known to Bills fans by appearing at games supporting her beau in a No. 17 jersey, including at Buffalo’s Thanksgiving Day win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Bills are now 9-3 with a chance at first place in the AFC East, thanks in part to Allen’s 16 touchdown passes and 2,591 yards with an 88.3 QB rating.

“Just gotta say, Buffalo is such a special place & it’s amazing to see what’s going on here,” Williams wrote on Twitter in September. “If you know, you know.”
According to Cheat Sheet, Williams has also stirred some controversy with the Bills Mafia online when she posted a photo of Allen in a Tom Brady jersey. Allen grew up a New England Patriots fan, and now he’s facing his idol -- and the Buffalo Bills’ biggest rival -- for a possible playoff run and Super Bowl glory.
