Community members gathered inside the Liverpool High School cafeteria Monday night to discuss the future of the school’s Warriors nickname and logo.

The meeting, led by Deputy Superintendent Douglas Lawrence, was held to explain the state’s mandate for all public schools to change any nicknames, mascots or logos that have ever represented Native American culture, and to allow community members to ask questions and comment on the change.
