The No. 16 Louisville Cardinals will play the USC Trojans at the 2023 DirecTV Holiday Bowl at Petco Park in San Diego, California on Wednesday, December 27 (12/27/2023) at 8 p.m. ET.

Louisville is 10-3 after dropping the 2023 ACC Championship to No. 4 Florida State 16-6. Before that, the Cardinals also lost 38-31 to Kentucky, making Jeff Brohm hungry for a big bowl win to finish his first season in charge with with 11 wins.
The Trojans (7-5) are also looking for a win to turn around the end of their season, after losing their last three games in a row, including a 38-20 loss to UCLA. USC became bowl eligible early in the year, after winning their first six straight games to start the season.
This will be the first ever game between USC and Louisville. The Cardinals are making their 26th bowl appearance, while the Trojans are making their 57th. Here’s how to watch the game.
