Clay, N.Y. -- A 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged with rape after police say he had sex with a child more than once in Clay.
Juan Pedro Chalan-Gualan was charged with second-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child, according to a criminal complaint filed in Syracuse City Court.
Syracuse police said in the court paper that Chalan-Gualan had sexual intercourse with the child — less than 15 years old — five separate times between May and November.
