Syracuse, N.Y. -- A 44-year-old was arrested Thursday after a “violent and aggressive” attack that left a man with a disfigured thumb, police say.

On Nov. 28, Alms Baker and another man were in a fight at 119 Dablon Court in Syracuse when Baker intentionally bit off part of the other man’s thumb, police said in court documents.

The bite was so “violent and aggressive” that the thumb was severed just below the cuticle, according to court documents.
