Syracuse, N.Y. ― The Miami Hurricanes will be without starting center Norchad Omier in today’s game against Syracuse at the JMA Wireless Dome.

Omier, a 6-foot-7, 240-pound senior, will miss the game due to “lower extremity’' injury, according to a Miami official.
