Mexico, N.Y. — A missing 21-year-old Oswego County woman was found dead Friday, troopers said.

Jordan Novak was reported missing from her home in Mexico on Dec. 3, said Trooper Jack Keller, a spokesperson for the state police.

On Friday she was found dead in Black Creek in Mexico, Keller said. An autopsy will be performed to determine an official cause of death, he said.

Novak was last seen leaving her home at 86 Wayne St., he said. She told family she was going to a friend’s home but never returned, he said.

The investigation is continuing, Keller said.
