Update 6:12 p.m.: The missing adult alert for Maryann Mclean has been canceled, according to an alert.

Syracuse, N.Y. — A missing vulnerable adult alert was issued by New York state this afternoon for a 76-year-old woman believed in to be in the Syracuse area.

The woman, Maryann Mclean, of Moscow, Pennsylvania was last seen in her hometown at 8 p.m. on Sunday, according to the alert. She suffers dementia and may be in need of medical attention, the alert said.

She is believed to be driving a 2016 white Nissan Sentra with Pennsylvania registration LNV9202.

The alert is on roadside message signs across Central New York.

The alert said information received Wednesday was that she is in the Syracuse area.
