Syracuse, N.Y. — Most of Central New York can expect strong winds and several inches of snow to fall starting Sunday night.

The National Weather Service issued winter weather advisories for the region early Sunday.

Sunday morning most of the region will see rain but in the evening it will start to turn to snow, according to the weather service.
