Warren M. Hilton, Ed.D., began his tenure as Onondaga Community College’s ninth president on July 1, 2022. His timing was excellent.
Four months later, almost to the day, Micron Technology announced plans to invest up to $100 billion to build a semiconductor complex in the town of Clay. Later that month, Hilton hosted President Joe Biden, Gov. Kathy Hochul, Sen. Chuck Schumer, Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon and Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra, among other luminaries, at a celebratory rally.
