Syracuse, N.Y. -- A gun was found in a stolen Hyundai last week after a 43-year-old man led police on a car chase that caused an accident and property damage, police said.

On Wednesday, Dec. 6, two Syracuse police officers were on a stolen vehicle traffic detail when they attempted to stop a 2014 Hyundai Sonata in the 800 block of North Salina Street, according to a Facebook post Tuesday from the Syracuse Police Department. Officers said the vehicle was driving without headlights on.
