DeWitt, N.Y. — Officers had to break windows to get a woman out of a stolen car after a multi-county pursuit Tuesday, troopers said.

Stephanie A. Akers, 25, of Manlius, was driving a stolen white 2006 Mercedes Benz on Thompson Road in DeWitt when troopers tried to stop her, said Trooper Jack Keller, a spokesperson for state police.

Akers did not stop, instead leading troopers on a pursuit.
