Onondaga County has spent more than $30 million buying property for Micron Technology’s enormous chip manufacturing project in Clay since 2020, according to state and county land records.

The county, through its Industrial Development Agency, has snapped up more than 60 parcels in that time, according to a Syracuse.com analysis.
