Who will win Sunday’s playoff rematch between the Buffalo Bills take on the Kansas City Chiefs?
On a preview episode of the Shout! Buffalo Football Podcast, Bills beat writers Matt Parrino and Ryan Talbot offer their predictions, as well as a few final thoughts before the much-hyped matchup between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.
Here are their picks.
Ryan Talbot: Bills 30, Chiefs 24
Tablot said these two teams know each other pretty well. They’ve played often in the Allen-Mahomes era. Joe Brady, however, will be the x-factor. He’s the newest element in the matchup: the Chiefs have only played against Brady one time, a game the Bills won 20-17 in early December.
Matt Parrino: Bills 30, Chiefs 28
“This is a Sean McDermott game for me,” Parrino said.
There’s been a lot of pressure on McDermott this season, especially after a rough stretch of games that left the pre-season Super Bowl darlings sitting at 6-6. There were questions about whether McDermott would survive the season.
Sunday’s game will test his tactics, his strategy, and his mettle.
