Dickinson, N.Y. – A state judicial oversight commission has recommended the removal of a town judge in Broome County after multiple examples of sexual harassment, abuse of his position and other inappropriate conduct.

Randy A. Hall, 68, has been a Dickinson town justice since 2022. The state Commission on Judicial Conduct announced Thursday its ruling that Hall should be removed from office. His current term is set to end on Dec. 31, 2025.

Hall, who is not an attorney, is also accused of implying he had prejudged the guilt of defendants and making inappropriate posts to social media.
