Jim Rowley has ended his campaign for the state Senate’s 50th District seat in Central New York, only days after fellow Republican Nick Paro announced he would challenge Rowley for the GOP nomination.

Rowley, chairman of the Onondaga County Legislature, told syracuse.com | The Post-Standard that he won’t be a candidate for the seat that will be vacated by state Sen. John Mannion at the end of 2024.
