Syracuse’s private sector job count climbs to post-Covid-19 pandemic high point: The Syracuse metro area had a total of 264,100 private sector jobs in October, up 4,600 jobs from October 2022, according to data from the state Labor Department. Buffalo Bills star turns himself in on domestic violence charge: Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller allegedly wrapped both of his hands around his pregnant girlfriend’s neck and pulled out chunks of her hair in a fight at his home, according to a Dallas police affidavit obtained by The Dallas Morning News. Miller has turned himself in to police.

Syracuse to add Orange legend Dave Bing to Ring of Honor: Syracuse University basketball legend Dave Bing, who played at Syracuse from 1962 to 1966 and revitalized a moribund program, will have his name added to the school’s Ring of Honor at a game later this season.
