Clay, N.Y. — A group of six stole from a Clay Kohl’s store on Monday, led deputies on a chase in a stolen BMW, hit another car and then tried to run, deputies said.

The group of women and girls loaded shopping carts with merchandise and left the Kohl’s at 3827 State Route 31 in Clay at 8:45 p.m. Monday, said Tom Newton, a spokesperson for the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.

They got into a stolen white 2014 BMW SUV and drove away, Newton said.
