Syracuse, N.Y. -- Karon Works asked his aunt recently if he could move to Pittsburgh to live with his older cousin, the one who used to help him with his homework and made sure he got on the school bus.
The 15-year-old said he wanted to get away from Syracuse, his aunt said.
