The Syracuse men’s basketball team returns home to square off with the LSU Tigers for the ACC/SEC Challenge at the JMA Wireless Dome at Syracuse University on Tuesday, November 28 (11/28/2023) at 7 p.m. ET.

Syracuse is back from a 1-2 performance at the 2023 Maui Invitational, with losses to Gonzaga and Tennessee and a consolation game against the Division II host school, Chaminade, which they won 105-56. Now the Orange will play host for the first-ever ACC/SEC Challenge, which is replacing the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

This is only the second-ever meeting between Syracuse and LSU, and the first time the teams have clashed since 1985, when Syracuse won 76-64 at the Carrier Dome.

Syracuse will be looking to improve on the glass after getting relentlessly out-rebounded by both Gonzaga and Tennessee in Hawaii. Syracuse will need to pair 7-foot-4 big man Naheem McLeod against the offensive threat of LSU’s Will Baker, who may force Adrian Autry to play the 2-3 zone defense he has shied away from so far this season.
