Syracuse, N.Y. -- The Syracuse women’s basketball team entered the AP Top 25 poll on Monday.
The Orange are 16-2 overall this season and sit tied with North Carolina atop the difficult ACC at 6-1. Syracuse is coming off a week when it defeated Pittsburgh on the road and then-No. 15 Florida State at home. SU is off to its best start since the 2012-13 season.
AP voters ranked the Orange No. 22 this season. The ACC has seven teams in the Top 25.
Syracuse is about to play three straight ranked teams. The Orange travels to Notre Dame Thursday, returns home Sunday for a game against Virginia Tech at noon, then visits Louisville next week.
