Syracuse, N.Y. — A house fire on the South Side of Syracuse was extinguished in 40 minutes on Friday, firefighters said.

The fire was reported at 7:05 p.m. at 1052 W. Onondaga St., by multiple people, said Deputy Fire Chief Leonard Danielewicz.
