The Syracuse Orange Football Team closes out a difficult season against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at the JMA Wireless Dome at Syracuse University on Saturday, November 25 (11/25/2023), and fans who want to give the Orange a sendoff can get tickets online.

Syracuse’s ends the season in turmoil after their 31-22 loss to Georgia Tech last week, after which the university fired eighth-year head coach Dino Babers, who had led the Orange through a disappointing 5-6 season, and just 1-6 against conference opponents.

Now, tight ends coach Nunzio Campanile will fill in as interim head coach as Syracuse hosts its last opponent for the season in front of a home crowd that could use a change of pace. Campanile brings a family football coaching legacy with him to the role while the orange explores options for the coming season.

Syracuse is 6-6 all-time against Wake Forest, but their last meeting was a 45-35 win for the Demon Deacons. Wake Forest is coming off a tough 45-7 loss to Notre Dame, and has an even worse record than the Orange at 4-7 and just 1-6 in the ACC.
