Syracuse, N.Y. -- A house fire left two people displaced Monday after flames damaged part of an apartment building, firefighters said.

Around 1:32 p.m., a 911 caller reported a possible fire at 403 Bear St., according to Onondaga County 911 Dispatch reports. The caller told dispatchers they could see smoke and fire coming from a window, dispatchers said.
