Syracuse, N.Y. -- A last-minute witness was brought before a jury in a Syracuse murder trial Thursday after a man housed at the county jail reported the accused killer told him he wanted retribution against a man who testified against him Tuesday.

Kenneth Kinsey, 35, is on trial for allegedly killing Bobby Fort Jr., 31, after an argument at a wild block party on June 5, 2021, in the 200 block of West Lafayette Avenue.

Testimony in the murder trial began Tuesday. One of the first witnesses called by the prosecution was Jhamel Corriders, 35, who attended the party that night and testified that he saw Kinsey fire the fatal shot.
