Syracuse University Chancellor Kent Syverud said today calls for the genocide of Jews violate the campus code of conduct and are subject to discipline.

The chancellor’s comments in a letter to the campus community come after Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-Schuylerville, kicked off a national discussion last week when she asked presidents of three prestigious universities whether calls for the genocide of Jews ran counter to their code of conduct.
