Dyaisha Fair led with 21 points in Syracuse’s nail-biter 83-82 win over the Clemson Tigers on Sunday. Along the way, Fair surpassed 3,000 career points for the Orange, becoming just the 16th collegiate woman to ever pass that threshold.

But it was Alyssa Latham’s layup that won the game for the Orange, and allowed Fair, and the fans packing the dome, to celebrate the big milestone. Latham nabbed a pass from Fair and found the net with 7.2 seconds on the clock to seal the Orange’s victory.

The Orange women are now 14-2 overall, 4-1 and just shy of finding itself on the AP Top 25 women’s basketball poll. Now they will square off with No. 15 Florida State, who are 14-4 and 5-1 in the ACC after beating Virginia Tech 89-81 on Sunday.
