Taylor Swift wears jacket made by Buffalo company at Chiefs game, report says

Buffalo, N.Y. — Upstate New York is part of Taylor Swift’s new fashion era.

Swift sparked viral interest Sunday when she attended a Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears in Missouri. The acclaimed singer is widely rumored to be dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and was photographed watching the game next to Kelce’s mom.

But for Upstate, the Arrowhead Stadium appearance is notable for another reason: Swift appears to have donned a jacket made in Buffalo to cheer on Kelce.

Women’s Wear Daily, a fashion-industry trade journal often called the “bible of fashion”, identified the red and white windbreaker Swift was wearing as a jacket made by New Era Cap — a headwear and clothing company based on Delaware Avenue in Buffalo. Eagle-eyed fashion bloggers at POPSUGAR also recognized Swift’s jacket as a New Era Cap coat emblazoned with the Chiefs’ logo.

Swift’s appearance at the NFL game has already made an impact on another piece of clothing. Sales for Kelce’s jersey through Fanatics skyrocketed by nearly 400% on Sunday, the company told the Associated Press.

But Swifties looking to snag the jacket Swift wore to the game for themselves are currently out of luck: As of Tuesday morning, Swift’s Chiefs jacket did not appear to be among the red-and-white gear on New Era Cap’s website.
