Fresno State (8-4) will be making its fourth New Mexico Bowl appearance, but the Bulldogs arrive on a three-game losing streak that they will look to snap, all while extending their four-game bowl winning streak. New Mexico State (10-4) will try to bounce back from its streak-ending 49-35 loss to Liberty at the Conference USA Championship.
The Aggies are appearing in a bowl for the second time in as many seasons under head coach Jerry Kill. Last year, they beat the Bowling Green Falcons 24-19 at the Quick Lane Bowl.
These teams haven’t met since 2019, when Bulldogs won 30-17, and Fresno State has a huge lead in the all-time series, 7-1, dating to 2005. Here’s how to watch the New Mexico Bowl.
