The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers clash with the Old Dominion Monarchs at the 2023 Famous Toastery Bowl at Jerry Richardson Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina on Monday, December 18 (12/18/2023) at 2:30 p.m. ET.

The Monarchs found their way to a bowl game with a 6-6 record after winning their last two games in a row of the regular season, including a 25-24 nail-biter against Georgia State. Old Dominion surged back from a 21-0 deficit at halftime in the comeback win, holding the Panthers to just a field goal in the second half and taking the lead on the final play of the game.
Western Kentucky (7-5) finished with two straight wins to secure their spot in the bowl, including a commanding 41-28 win over the FIU Panthers in which they scored 21 unanswered points in the first quarter.
Western Kentucky beat Old Dominion 43-20 the last time these teams clashed in 2021. It will be Hilltoppers fifth consecutive season competing for a bowl trophy, while the Monarchs will be playing their third bowl since moving up to the FBS.
