Syracuse, N.Y. — A woman was robbed at knifepoint of her purse on the North Side of Syracuse on Saturday, police said.

Around 12:38 p.m. Hollie Payne, 46, of Mattydale, was at the intersection of Turtle and Spring streets in Syracuse when a group of kids approached her, said Lt. Matthew Malinowski, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Police.

A 14-year-old boy held out a knife and took Payne’s purse, Malinowski said.
