No Doubt reunion

Gwen Stefani and No Doubt are reuniting for the first time in nearly a decade to play Coachella 2024. The group posted a video Tuesday showing Stefani on a video call with bassist Tony Kanal, guitarist Tom Dumont and drummer Adrian Young, talking about doing a show together. Then the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival announced this year’s lineup, including No Doubt, Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, Tyler the Creator and a reunited Sublime (with Bradley Nowell’s son). No Doubt quickly became a trending topic as fans were eager to hear favorite songs like “Don’t Speak,” “Just a Girl,” “Hella Good” and “Spiderwebs.”

‘Footloose’ actress dies

ET reports “Footloose” star Lynne Marta is dead at age 78. The actress died after a cancer battle, a friend told The Hollywood Reporter. Marta played the aunt of Kevin Bacon’s character in 1984′s “Footloose,” plus had roles in “Joe Kidd,” “Three Men and a Little Lady,” “Days of Our Lives,” “Charlie’s Angels,” “Designing Women” and “Starsky & Hutch.” Marta was also known for her relationship with “Starsky & Hutch” co-star David Soul, who died earlier this month at age 80.

‘Bill & Ted 4′ in works

Another excellent adventure? Alex Winter says “Bill & Ted 4″ is possible, four years after he and Keanu Reeves reunited for “Bill & Ted Face the Music.” Winter told the Sarah O’Connell Show that a new sequel hasn’t been given a green light, but a script is indeed in the works. “We’re tinkering with a fourth movie idea that all of us like, and the guys are going to write, so we’ll see. It takes us time to get these things going, and we never want to do them unless they’re great,” he said. “There’s a really good idea that the writers came up with for a fourth that’s kind of obvious. I don’t want to give it away -- I can’t give it away because I would be drawn and quartered -- but it is a really great idea, kind of an obvious idea. It will get written, and we’ll see if we can actually get it made. It may be a little while.”
